Spring (March - May)

Spring is the best season to visit Jinan. The weather is pleasant, and the springs are at their most active after the winter. The city's many flowers are in bloom, creating beautiful scenery.

Summer (June - August)

Summer can be hot and humid, but it's the season when Daming Lake's lotuses are in full bloom. Evenings are pleasant for strolls around the springs.

Autumn (September - November)

Autumn offers comfortable temperatures and clear skies. The foliage on Thousand Buddha Mountain turns beautiful colors, making it a great time for hiking.

Winter (December - February)

Winter is cold but less crowded. The springs create beautiful misty scenes in the cold air, and if you're lucky, you might see the rare sight of springs surrounded by snow.

Getting to Jinan

By Air

Jinan Yaoqiang International Airport (TNA) serves domestic and international flights. It's about 30 km from the city center. Airport shuttle buses and taxis are available to downtown.

By Train

Jinan is a major railway hub with two main stations: Jinan Station (in the city center) and Jinan West Station (high-speed trains). High-speed trains connect Jinan to Beijing (1.5 hours), Shanghai (3 hours), and other major cities.

By Bus

Long-distance buses connect Jinan with surrounding cities and provinces. The main bus station is located near Jinan Railway Station.
